Shipping and Return Policy

   Returns Policy

We allow returns of some John Deere parts and accessories, however some limitations and exclusion apply.

1. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

2. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

3. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

  • Additional non-returnable items:
  • All parts over 30 days old
  • Any parts that have been soiled or damaged
  • Machinery Manuals such as Operator, Technical and Repair
  • Any liquid (oil, grease, paint etc)
  • Seal kits, gasket kits that have been opened
  • Hardware (including, but not limited to nuts, bolts, screws etc)
  • Any parts that have been installed on equipment or used
  • Any “sale items” only regular price items can be returned

4. We can refund shipping charges only if the return is a result of our error.

5. Return Penalties

  • All returned John Deere parts and accessories are subject to a 15% restocking fee

6. Hunt Green reserves the right to refuse any returns if they do not meet our return requirements.

7. Sale items can not be returned or exchanged for any reason. All sale items are final.

Returns process

To return your product, you should:

a) Verify that your item(s) meet our Return Policy.

b) Contact Hunt Green support at support@huntgreen.com.au or call 1800 658 522 to request a return authorization number.

c) Write the Return Authorization Number on the outside of the package.

d) Send your item to:

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item is shipped in error by us.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you have not received an email notification after a reasonable amount of time, please contact us at support@huntgreen.com.au or call us on 1800 658 522.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@huntgreen.com.au and send your item to:

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. We will refund any shipping costs if you need to exchange an item due to it being defective.

Parts Warranty

All parts sold by Hunt Green are covered by the OEM warranty. To verify if your part meets the John Deere warranty terms, click on the below link.

Please refer to the John Deere Limited Australia Service Repair Parts Warranty Terms Sheet for full warranty details.

Please note that John Deere does not cover shipping / freight charges for warranty items. The cost of returning these items will be at your own expense.

In order for us to file warranty on your part(s), we will need the following information:

The full Product Identification Number of the unit (Serial Number)
Hour meter reading (if applicable) at time of part failure

Please note we do not offer Core Return Credits through the Hunt Green website. Please consult your local John Deere dealership in regard to Core Returns.

Shipping Policy

At Hunt Green we strive to delivery your items in a timely and efficient manner. Most orders where items are stocked locally will be shipped within 24hrs (Monday-Friday). Orders where items are stocked in our secondary warehouse will usually be shipped within 2-3 business days.

Additionally, Hunt Green will be closed for the following public holidays. Orders placed on these dates may be processed on the following business day;

  • New Year's Day
  • Australia Day
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Monday
  • Anzac Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day
Secondary Warehouses
You will be advised on the product page if your item will need to be ordered from our secondary warehouse in Melbourne. Please note that if some ordered items are in local stock and others on backorder from Melbourne, the order will not be shipped until the consolidated load can be sent together. You can expect a 2 to 3 day delay in shipping of your goods if product needs to come from Melbourne. 

Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to all Australian States and Territory's. At this time we do not ship to any location outside of Australia.

Delivery
Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address and when applicable someone is available to sign for the goods received at time of delivery. If at the time of delivery no one is available to sign for the received goods, you may have to pick up your order from the closest distribution centre or there may be a fee charged for redistribution of undelivered goods. Parcels which are returned to us at Hunt Green as undeliverable will incur a re-dispatch fee. Postage charges paid for the original dispatch are not refundable.

Backorders
You will be advised on the product page if your item will need to be ordered from our secondary warehouse in Melbourne. Please note that if some ordered items are in local stock and others on backorder from Melbourne, the order will not be shipped until the consolidated load can be sent together. You can expect a 2 to 3 day delay in shipping of your goods if product needs to come from Melbourne.

 

Free Shipping Policy

Hunt Green offers Free Shipping on orders over $150 excluding tax, subject to the total weight of ordered items. The following table outlines the Free Shipping levels:

Note:

  • If you choose Free Shipping, our system is set to select the cheapest available option to ship your order. Typical delivery times for Free Shipping are between 3 - 7 days, however this may be longer for remote areas.
  • You will always have the choice to pay for a premium shipping option if you would like your items delivered sooner.

  •  You can insure goods up to a value of $25,000 any one carry.
  • You have up to three days from the time of receiving your insured goods to report damage. If you notice at the time of receiving the goods that they are damaged, please ensure you write the following on the delivery docket at the time of delivery "Package received damaged". Please also ensure this is co-signed by the carrier who delivered your goods.
  • If you notice damage to your insured goods after the carrier has left, you have up to three days from the time of receiving your insured goods to report damage. 
  • If nobody is at the delivery address to accept the goods, cover is provided for 24 hours after the carrier leaves the insured goods at the delivery address. If you notice damage to your insured goods, and provided you have collected the goods within the 24 hour period granted, you have up to three days from the time of collecting your insured goods to report damage.
  • Reporting loss or damage outside of the three-day notification period may affect our ability to settle this claim.
